Runaway Horse - Navigating Challenges with Curiosity and Calm
In today's complex and often uncertain times, the parable of the runaway horse offers a powerful framework for exploring the world with curiosity. When the farmer's horse runs away, the neighbours think it's bad luck, but the farmer simply says, "Maybe." When the horse returns with a group of wild horses, the neighbours celebrate his good fortune, but again, the farmer calmly says, "Maybe."
This story teaches us that events are neutral; it’s our perspective and response that shape our experiences. By creating space to explore your emotions and responses to events, and working with a thinking partner to explore possibilities, you can gain clarity. Without judging what's "good" or "bad," you will understand where you are now and the paths open to you.
Time moves at a constant rate, but our experience of it is shaped by our thoughts and emotions. Great leaders and individuals navigate life’s ups and downs with a balanced perspective, seeing setbacks as opportunities and understanding that apparent gains may come with challenges.

What I do
I help my clients step back from daily pressures, the constant stream of tasks, and the expectations from others and themselves. Together, we’ll envision a better future and work towards it. The process involves:
Emotional Balance
Emotional Balance
Learning to stay calm and thoughtful, even under pressure. This means reacting wisely rather than impulsively and staying resilient when faced with challenges.

By working together, we’ll build the skills and mindset needed to handle life’s challenges with resilience and optimism. Like the farmer, you’ll learn to see the potential in every situation and stay balanced no matter what the outcome.

Why Runaway Horse?
Why Runaway Horse?
I chose the name "Runaway Horse" for my company because it captures the essence of my coaching philosophy. Just like the farmer in the parable, I believe that events in our lives are neutral, and our responses define our experiences. By embracing curiosity, emotional balance, and a wise perspective, we can navigate life's complexities with resilience and optimism. "Runaway Horse" symbolises the potential for growth and opportunity in every situation, encouraging us to explore the unknown with confidence and clarity.
